Particle size for this Diatomaceous Earth Organic ranges from 80% Fine Grade with some 20% particles up to 2mm. – 20 to 400 UM size particles
Use this Diatomaceous Earth for feeding Livestock, Poultry, Pets, dusting animals and pens.
Diatomaceous Earth Organic Farming can be used for Dusting green houses, dusting fruit, flower and vegetable crops. Can be done even on day of harvesting crops with no harm to animals or humans as it is pure and organic. Don’t dust when Bees are present.
Adding to grains for pest control.
Not sterilized, Not suitable for human consumption.
Plants:
For control of aphids, white fly, beetles, caterpillars, mites, leaf hoppers,
and others.
Use Diatomaceous Earth Organic Food inside your home, greenhouse or outdoors on
fruits, vegetables, flowers, grains and grass, up to and including day of
harvest. For dry application of Diatomaceous Earth use a duster and cover
entire plant, apply to both top and bottom of leaf. For controlling insects,
use 1 kg per 10 x 10 square metres. Or just dust the insects directly.
Applies best when there is dew or after a light rain. It is a long lasting,
effective powder. The insects cannot build up resistance to it.
Diatomaceous Earth will need reapplication after rain or watering.
To use as a fertilizer and improving soils use at the rate of 50 kg per acre.
Please dust with care when bees are about as they play an important role
in nature.
Livestock:
All livestock, Horses, Cows, Pigs, Sheep, Goats, Rabbits, Chickens and
others will benefit from the use of Diatomaceous Earth. It is completely safe
and nontoxic. Some of the benefits are; Control of fleas and ticks,
stimulates basic metabolism, converts feed better, reduces odour and
moisture in sheds and stalls, results in better coat and hoof condition,
keeps fly larvae from developing in manure, noticeably reducing the fly
population, reduces annual vet bills, controls worms and internal
parasites without chemicals, better egg production, stronger eggs, and
can reduce overall animal stress. Diatomaceous Earth can be mixed right in
with the animals feed.
Cows/Horses get 1/2 cup per day for standard 14 Hand high and reduced
amounts for small and younger ones.
Sheep/Goats/Hogs get 1/4 cup per day,
For Chickens and other livestock you need to weight the feed and add 5%
of that weight in Diatomaceous Earth.
Your livestock will also get the benefit of over 15 trace minerals that make
up Diatomaceous Earth.
Stored Grain:
Just add 3 – 6kgs. Of Diatomaceous Earth to each ton of grain as it is
conveyed into the storage. When added to grain, Diatomaceous Earth
killed the bugs that were present, and protected the grain from any
further invasions. Bugs could not become immune and they were killed by
physical action, not chemical.
